My name is Hashaun Adderley and I was born and raised in The Bahamas. I am an aviation writer and photographer, instrument rated commercial multi-engine pilot, licensed aircraft dispatcher, advanced instrument ground instructor and remote (drone) sUAS pilot.
Growing up in The Bahamas I was fortunate enough to be able to work various summer jobs in between high school and college as an aircraft cleaner, ramp agent and customer service agent. After leaving college in 2015, I worked at a local Bahamian airline in the marketing department since I majored in media journalism and also had media experience from working as an audio engineer. Later after earning the aircraft dispatcher license I started working as a dispatcher for that same airline. I left the airline at the end of 2018 to freelance as an aviation writer/photographer and in early 2019 I began assisting at Caribbean Aviation Consultancy (CAC) as an assistant consultant. CAC provides a variety of technical services for operators in the region.
Additionally, I'm a tech enthusiast and have since started learning about information technology and how to code and visualize data using the programming language Python. Data visualized properly can be very useful in aviation and also helps decision makers make better choices and allows more insight into safety.
This site shows some of the articles and photos I have created over the last few years. Feel free to contact me about working together, consulting services, tutoring or learning more about aviation!
